UI design for Franklin’s Secret City app, a site-specific adventure game for two players with mobile phone.
One player will be using the Scanner app, which reads the energy level of bioether and provides encyclopedic information and jazz music. The other player will be using the Communicator app, which receives correspondence from a secret society that is at the center of this journey.
Throughout the journey, the players have to communicate with each other to accomplish their tasks. The visual system draws from computer graphics in the 1980s, since in this game, both mobile apps are interfacing with technology developed during that era.
