Visual identity and UI design for the website of ITP Weather Band. A musician group at NYU ITP, the Weather Band uses real-time weather data collected from a DIY weather station in New York City to create electronic music.
Inspired by Alexander Calder’s mobiles, the site’s visual identity responds to real-time weather data in terms of season, temperature, rain and wind. The visual system is demonstrated in the video below.
